"Mmmhhhh" Edward moaned uncomfortably…
"What's wrong?" Bella asked.
"There are just sooo many!" He groaned
They were currently in a airport about to board a plane and Edwards ability to read other people's thoughts was pushing him to the brink of insanity there were people thinking everywhere around him and it was making his head spin…
"I'm sorry baby…"Bella murmured drawing him out of his own thoughts. She took his hand and gave it a small squeeze to try and comfort him in some way.
He squeezed her hand gently back…
A large crowd walked by and the voices in his head got louder...He flinched almost imperceptibly. Bella gave his hand another squeeze. He pulled her into his side trying to focus on her, and ignore the other thoughts. She leaned up and gave him a peck on the cheek.
"Sweetie" she murmured sympathetically.
He kissed the top of her head. He was usually pretty good about being in crowds, but this… This was just insane...It was beginning to give him a headache…He didn't know vampires could get headaches. Another group of people walked by. He gritted his teeth. They were thinking such stupid trivial things!
"I need to buy my ticket and then I can wait in terminal A...no B...F? Is there a terminal F?"
"I can't believe they delayed my flight!"
"3 hour flight and a layover! Are they serious?"
"Edward calm down" Bella murmured in a soothing voice. He realized he had tensed up. He concentrated on relaxing his body...He shouldn't be mad at these people, they didn't know what they were doing to him. He took a deep breath and smiled at his lovely fiancé…
"I'm sorry, I know this probably isn't the departure you had in mind…" He mumbled feeling a little guilty.
"Shh, it's fine, from the looks of things it much worse on you...I just wish there was more I could do to help!" She exclaimed. He buried his face in her hair.
"You being here and distracting me is working rather wonderfully" he mumbled into her hair.
"Well if you're looking for a distraction…" she said reaching her head around and catching his lips in hers. It was the perfect distraction...She was suddenly completely apart of him and the voices were no longer noticeably floating around his head...And then came
"They realize this airport is a public place, like seriously?"
He ended the kiss…
"That was a wonderful distraction Thank You." He mumbled as he pressed his lips back into her hair.
"Flight to Paris France boarding now, again Paris France flight 16 B please board...Thank you! have a nice flight!"
"That's us" Bella said ducking out from under me and pulling my arm with her.
She dragged me to first class on the airplane...Thankfully it was quiet and thought free...Bella snuggled into me and sighed contentedly. This was going to be a fun trip
