Kender Professions

Okay they tell me that I can't be a Mage, nor a shopkeeper, a guard or a warrior.

I guess I can't be a Mage for some of the same reasons as a Cleric. Also I don't want to miss out on all the things I see because my nose is stuck in a book. Uhh no offense Raistlen. I would also hate if someone keep sneaking around to put rose petals in my pouches every time I turned around.

I can't be a shopkeeper as why does a shop need a keeper? I never really understood that idea. I'd hate to have to yell at myself. I mean every time I go into a store the shopkeeper is yelling at me. I think that it wouldn't be very much fun to yell at myself personally.

I can't be a guard as they don't want me near the weapons. They also mumbled something about I should go lock myself in jail to save them time. What ever that means, don't take it personally I like the jail. Some are really nice, but I like to see the city as well. I think they also commented on that when a Kender is a guard the world is going to end in a giant fireball. I think that, that is an interesting idea but I like the world a little too much for that. Also I know that I want to explore the world more before then. Think of all the possibilities that you would miss.

I can't be a warrior as the weapons are too heavy and I tend to fall asleep on watch. At least that's what Caramon told me being I can't watch myself sleep. Also I think it'd be dull to just meet thieves I want to see a dragon.

I can't be Elvish as I don't know how to speak Elvish, I do have the ears though…. No offense Tanis but they don't seem to like to have fun and I just think that would be too boring.

They tell me I can't be a Cleric as power in the hands of a Kender is bad news. Then again I thought that no news was bad news….. wait maybe it's no news is bad news until you hear the good news. Then again I thought it was bad news is only good news in disguise. … I'll ask Raistlen later.

I can't be a bartender, as I'd help myself to a pint. Maybe flint also but then I think that he'd shut the inn or tavern down with how much he can drink….. him and Caramon at drinking contests…erm….

I can't be Gnomish as Rabbit Slayer is the most complicated thing I want. Well maybe my hoopak is more complicated but you get the idea. Hey have you ever heard the story of how I got rabbit slayer? No, well I'll tell you after I'm done. Also talking like a Gnome gives you headaches as I've tried.

I can't have a woolly mammoth as mine got away.. Did I ever tell you that story? You see this one day I was out………
