Fic: Make Me Forget, Danny/Jackson.
Jackson likes making people proud, it's what he does and not just because he doesn't know his real parents but because he needs to make them happy, that somehow if he does everything perfect and does better than everyone else they'll come for him, tell him how he's worthy enough to be there son, that he's finally proved himself but that day never comes and with everyday he just tries harder to be the best he can be.
That's the real reason him and Lydia where together, she pushed him to be his best and they worked but he never loved her. How could he when he doesn't even love himself.
Danny's on his knees, in front of Jackson as he takes him in further into his mouth, until Jackson feels nothing but Danny's tongue moving, his checks hollowing and pure bliss that makes his mind go blank and blocks everything out. Blocks out the fact that he's failing chemistry, that Scott is now captain of his team or that he'll never be good enough, Danny pulls off of him and immediately he wants that heat back, that contact that makes him forget everything.
He looks down at Danny, who's still on the floor, eyes looking up at him that longs for more, for something Jackson can't even begin to give himself.
"Thanks."
Is all he says before he's out of there, zipping his pants on and closing himself off, he knows Danny wants more, knew how Danny felt about him when he told Jackson he was gay, that look of needing and wanting more than just friendship from him. He's always known it.
Jackson closes the door behind him, lucks himself away in his room but it's not enough to stop the voices of doubt swimming around in his head so he turns on his stereo, turns it up to full blast, opens the bottle of vodka in his hand and drinks. Drinks until he has to come up for air. His breath heavy as he tries to breath and before he knows it there's tears filling his eyes.
He thinks of Danny, the one person that's always been there for him through everything, long before Lydia came around and how he's failed him. A part of him knows that Danny coming out was because of him, in hopes that they could finally be together without hiding but Jackson can't, not when he's lost himself in the process of trying to figure out who he is, where he comes from.
Jackson spends hours analyzing everything he's done, how everything he did – becoming captain of the lacrosse team, even Lydia has been taken away from him and so he goes to see Scott, the person that turned his life upside down.
He's getting up and walking out of his room before he even knows what he's doing. He seeks out Scott and somehow he ends up at the McCall's house, banging on the door and shouting.
"McCall, get out here!" he says feeling dizzy, his vision blurring and why are there two Scotts? He hits the floor in a space of a second and Scotts there holding him up and keeping him from hitting the ground.
"Jackson? What are you doing here."
Is all he hears before he's pushing Scott away.
"Get off me, it's your fault!"
"What's my fault?"
Scotts questions with a frown, not knowing what Jacksons going on about.
"It's all your fault… he repeats before passing out.
