Naruto Angst Story
"Ok." Consented the three genin standing in front of Tsunade.
"Your mission is to go to the Sand Village and obtain this scroll." After holding up a picture of a red and blue scroll, she continued, "Alright, Kiba, Hinata, Naruto?"
Each of them consented and left to pack.
***Next Day – Early Morning***
After everyone arrived, they set of in the direction of the Sand Village.
Naruto and Kiba went on pointlessly fighting over the direction that they were going and which path to take while Hinata stood there blushing whenever Naruto was within five feet of her.
***After Arriving at the Sand Village***
"Here we are!" announced Naruto, gaining himself a "That's obvious!" and a glare from Kiba.
They headed straight toward their target which was on the outskirts of the Sand Village.
After arriving they encountered many enemy ninja which were fairly weak, but because of their numbers, started to make Kiba and Hinata tired, with Naruto's amazing stamina, however, he was just hyper and happy during the fights, to the disgust of Kiba. They reached their target and grabbed it as the enemy ninja surrounded them. After wounding Hinata, the enemy ninjas seemed to back off, to the confusion and relief of Naruto, Kiba, and Hinata. They jumped at the opportunity and fled through the woods.
Just before they reached the edge of the woods, enemy ninjas came from the woods and threw kunai at Naruto. Naruto turned to see them coming at him just a second too late…
As the kunai were coming toward his heart, Hinata threw herself in front of Naruto, saving his life and ending hers.
"No! Hinata are you alright? You will be okay, right?" asked a frantic Kiba. Suddenly, Kiba went from being frantic to furious. "You will pay!" he screamed as he slaughtered the enemy ninja.
Kiba came back to Hinata after he finished off the last one and said, "Are you okay?"
Hinata could only shake her head weakly.
"You can't die Hinata! I won't let you! Don't leave me! I love you!" Yelled Kiba as Hinata died in his arms. "No!" Kiba sobbed. "No, I won't let you leave me." He said as he plunged the kunai in his hand into his heart.
"No!" yelled a frantic Naruto as he said Kiba end his life and leave Naruto with the bodies of his two comrades.
After making sure that there really was no way to save his fallen friends, Naruto picked up their bodies and brought them back to the Leaf Village without even stopping once.
***After Returning to the Lead Village***
Naruto burst into Tsunade's office and as she turned to him to ask him in an angry tone why he didn't knock, she saw Hinata and Kiba's bodies slung over his shoulders and immediately took them from him. After realizing that they were both dead, she looked up just in time to see Naruto collapse from exhaustion.
***At the Joint Funeral of Kiba and Hinata***
Naruto was not present for he was in the hospital because of his mental state after seeing Hinata die to protect him and Kiba die to join her.
Shino went into shock at suddenly not having a team and just sat in his room staring at the wall. The rest of the "Rookie Nine" genin came but none of them could think of anything to do or say except ask "Why did they have to die when they could have had such a happy future together?" No matter how many times they asked that question, no one had an answer….
