Sam
I really screwed up, drinking that blood in front of Dean. But, he's gotta understand, we needed to kill those demons. He was the one who noticed I was getting weak.
This is what I have to do. Nobody has to like it.
I hate the way he looks at me. He must be pissed; he won't even talk to me. He freaked out when he found out what I could do. I sure wasn't going to show him how it worked.
This is just the way it is now. I killed that demon. We saved Jimmy's family and got Cas back. Okay, so I lied to him. No, just a secret, like he never. He was in hell, I needed to keep fighting.
He says he's not angry, just disappointed. Does he think I'm not? Who wants to live like this? It's just a means to an end. If I had known, maybe I wouldn't have started. I'll just quit when it's over. But she promised me I could kill Lillith. And I owe Dean that much and not just for the seals.
He can't think I enjoy this. I mean, it does feel good, all this power. I can kill demons and I'm getting stronger. I was able to kill Alistair and that did feel good, after what he did to my brother.
Thank God, Bobby called. At least now, we have something else to talk about. But, no, Dean is still not talking. This is going to be a long ride.

This was worse than anything I saw in hell. This was real and it was Sammy. He was covered in blood that he sucked out of that demon's neck. It makes me sick to think about it. I can't even look at him, right now.
This is how that bitch, Ruby, was teaching Sam to kill demons? This is how she's making him strong enough to kill Lillith , by turning him into a blood sucking freak? I'm gonna save my brother and then I'm gonna take care of Ruby.
I told him I was disappointed. It's not him, really. It just never ends and I wasn't here to take care of him.
Well, Bobby just called, like he said he would. So, whatever he told Sam was okay. I hate having to do this to him. I don't know how else to help him but I can't leave him like this.
I'm not much of a praying man but, Cas, if you can hear me, please, this has got to work.

When Dean called, I can't say I didn't believe it. I can't believe I didn't see it. He had to be gettin' that juice from somewhere. I just never thought the kid would go that far.
While his brother was in the pit, Sam steered clear of me. That must have been Ruby's doing. He would never have gone down that road if me or Dean were around.
Drinking demon blood like that. What was that boy thinking? He's lucky nobody else knows about this. I don't think even Dean could protect him. But he'd die trying. I won't lose 'em both. Dammit, I ain't losing none of 'em.
When the boys show up, I'll get 'em down to the basement. We'll just talk casual and make our way to the panic room. Sam has to walk in first. We gotta shut the door on that boy and he's gotta get clean.
Then, I gotta deal with Dean. The guilt, that overblown sense of responsibility for his brother. I know he's hurting. But, at least he's asking for help. Maybe this is the one good thing to come out of him going to hell.

I warned him about allowing his brother to follow this path.
