Prologue:
"My name is Rien Bei Fong. I never believed in ghosts until I came face to face with one. So I set out on a quest to capture what I first saw onto video. With no big camera crews following us around, I am joined only by my fellow investigator Yuen Kuruk and our equipment tech Mouk Pyro. The three of us will travel all over the world to some of the most active paranormal locations where we will spend an entire night, locked down from dusk until dawn. Raw... Extreme... These are our adventures into the violent past."
It has been 800 years since the end of the longest war in the world's history. The war that took place between the peoples of the old Fire Nation and the rest of world that left over 10 billion people dead within just a hundred years. Not only that but after the war ended the conflict was far from over. Riots all over the world followed for decades after the war. Eighty years after the war ended another war was almost started by those blessed with the power to bend their own element and those who couldn't. After the fall of the final Avatar, Avatar Korra, all the benders will killed off. This killed over three quarters of the worlds population.
After bending was abolished, people used their knowledge and freedom to think without persecution to bring the world into a new age that was started by the old Fire Nation near the end of the war. From this the power of lightning brought on electricity harvested into a power supply. Modern medicine flurished and the pieces of equipment that we use now and take advantage of was brought on. But what happened to the people that died in the 200 years before the end of the bending age? That is the question that we are trying to answer through our lockdowns in the most active paranormal sites in the world.
