This is for a friend, I don't stick around in this circuit of fandom xD Why does it seem that decent writers stick in other fandoms…but not in the ones they grew up in? Oh well, hope you enjoy.
Police!Robin, who will be called Dick Grayson, he is going to be a lot older here. Maybe..20? (If you don't know that he had a real name, ._.)
Foreigner!Starfire- Age ~24, Name: Star Kori Fire (Koriand'r is her real name, but that is a little much on the tongue, non?)
I don't anything but the plot bunny :D
"Officer! Do you need my information?" The redhead scrambled between all of the papers stuffed thickly into the car drawer, the white sheets scattering themselves onto the shotgun sheet.
GRAYSON read his badge. "Miss," Placing his hand onto the hood, leaning into the small car from the 90s'. "I only need your insurance and driver's license."
Her head turned around slowly, 'Robin' (old childhood nickname, some event with trying to catch one, and a couple lakes) clearly saw her face for the first time. Yes, he didn't like people in the first place, but she…appeared different than the rest of them.
"Um, Do I have something on my face?" Star scrubbed her face furiously, even checking the little side mirror to make sure.
"No, ma'am, nothing." He glanced to the left at the police cruiser behind them, part of the job wasn't it? Working long hours with minimal pay? "But, don't you have a license?"
She fumbled with her thumbs, "No? I only recently came to this county…so many foreign things. Like driving on this side of the road, and a couple other things…" Straight ahead was the only thing she could see since she sat up, the dark night clouding the street.
Grayson chuckled, it explained the lost puppy look in her eyes, and her 'special' driving technique. "Like what, Miss?"
"Driving, and I saw American movies before I came here, so I wouldn't be so lost." A grin came through her little frown, "Most of them have happy endings, and so many cute things! I like cute things! Do you like cute things?" A little too much babel came out, "Officer! I said too much!" She slapped her hand across her mouth to shut herself up, but she kept going, and going.
Grayson smiled for the first time in a very, very long time. She acted much younger than what her papers said (she handed to them after the face scrubbing). Rereading the line again, "Miss. Fire, calm down, I'll need you to come down to the Police Headquarters to check everything out."
"But! But! But! I have a job interview in 10 minutes!" Star was going to panic, it was the whole reason she came into the States! Her eyes grew wide, "Please," The emerald orbs squinted to read the name tag. "D-ick, Gray-son."
"Call me Robin, okay? I'll give you a warning if I catch you again."
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" The grin that should have been there in the first place stayed.
"On one thing,"
She paused her happiness, "What Officer?"
"You promise me to get a license, and that I don't catch you here anytime soon."
"I promise Officer!" Star grinned again, and yanked his tie into the car. She gave him a long kiss, and 'Robin' would undoubtly say it was a decent one…As quick as the kiss was given, he was shoved out, and a "Thanks Officer!" was yelled out as she drove a way.
"….Foreigners." The current red faced Officer, ran his hand through his hair grabbing his hat before it dropped to the ground.
A couple miles north, a small "Americans are weird..." was muttered.
Review please? :D
maybe I'll continue it~
