Hello all! I just had this random little idea (my shortest work ever I think) and decided to just put it up. Hope you enjoy!

The Boy from Krypton.

It began, the story of a small baby boy, many years ago on a planet called Krypton, a planet galaxies away ours. There was nothing spectacular about this boy. Nothing out of the ordinary. Ten fingers, ten toes… a perfect, happy child. Like many children, he had two parents, a mother and a father who loved him very, very much. But fate was to tear the light of their lives away from them. Events beyond their control stole him from them and so he began a journey, not just a journey spanning the galaxies between Krypton and our own, but a journey towards destiny, a journey that would one day have this young boys actions touch and effect the lives of billions.

Unknowing of the future ahead of him, he travelled far, before arriving on our own planet Earth. Upon his arrival, in the grand scheme of things, his existence made little impact, especially in comparison to the deeds ahead of him. In time he slowly emerged into the world, drawing attention to his existence, to his incredible strength, abilities far beyond those of mortal men and even far beyond some who had great powers themselves.

He arrived in the great city of Metropolis, home of the greatest newspaper in the world, The Daily Planet. It wasn't long that here, in a city full of people, that he stood well out of the crowd, his presence causing shock and awe. Within hours of unveiling himself to the world, all eyes where on him.

Who was he? What was he? Why did he do the things he did?

Not knowing the real name of this strange visitor, he was given a name fitting of his actions, one that very much defined him. He would become something so much more than anyone would have imagined. For his destiny made him so much more than the simple baby boy he once was. He become a symbol.

Parents would tell their children about him for generations to come, tell of this one child, who was born on a distant planet and would one day change our world.

The symbol… of rage…. of hatred… of pure relentless unstoppable fury.

The name given to him struck fear in all those that heard it. It was indeed a definition of what he was. Forever would it be known, that if this once sweet, innocent baby boy, would darken your door…

Then it was nothing short… of Doomsday.
