(Note: this is the begginging of what I hope I can finish. After beating Twilight Princess and Idea spawned from my head. That Idea was the story that I would love to see down on paper and praised by you the readers. This beggning start of the story is just to get you mouth salivated for the rest of the story and also giving me some time to type out the first chapter So without any due I present you the story continuation that takes place after the end of Twilight Princess.)
(P.S. I would recommend that you first beat the game or know what happens because this may/will contain spoilers to people whom haven't seen the ending or played the game.)
Prelude
A small splash sounded in the distance as a small ticking followed with. The small waves of the pond crashed lightly against the canoe as the ticking continued on, and off, on and off. The day was his day off, day off from the consistant war he fought and won, a day off from Faron village from the kids, and the people, it was links day off.
"No more.." he said to himself as he laid to rest the past, it was a week since Midna left, Zelda continued to rule the kingdom with her wisdom and courage.
"No more, fighting, no more….Midna" His voice hushed towards the end as he started to remember those days. The days of becoming a beast, seeing no hope in a cage until she came along and crossed paths with him. Paths of fate from the goddess, though who knows what they plan out for people like link and others. A small laugh leaked from his mouth as he sat back in the canoe, looked at the high sun and slowly drifted.
A small thud hit the bottom of the canoe as Links eyes opened. The sun moved its placement a little bit over the time as out of reflex link spoke few words that would undoubtly change his whole out look. "Let me sleep Midna" he rolled over gently in one spot as the canoe rocked on the water. Link's eyes closed, though slowly opened as he stared off at the side of the canoe. "Midna" He whispered as he continued to picture her in his mind, "Midna…what did you want to tell me…" His mind went blank as the film rolls of his memories clicked, lighted up, and played there picture. Though out of misery the memories of his head chose that one moment, the night before entering the castle to save Zelda.
"Link, I…just want to say.." Midna looked over at him, her eyes focused on his. "I want to say if we somehow don't survi" Link cut her off to prevent her form continuing.
"Of course we are going to survive, and after we kill off Ganon you and me, can finally separate and go are ways. I am getting sick of you nagging on my back" Link finished that off with a smile as Midna showed her teeth, and fist in a small swell of anger, but killed off in laughter.
Links eyes focused back onto the present as the film reel of memories fast forwarded through the battle, the master sword implanted on Ganon's chest as Zelda stood beside link as they watched the death of Ganon. "I was stupid…" he mumbled and sat back up. "She wanted to say something more…" His fist tightened as he sat back up, the canoe rocked gently side to side. The lure was still in the water as the ticking of the spool became rapid while he slept then died off. "What was it…" the answer because to grasp into his mind, never letting go until he could find out. Though the answer itself would perhaps never become real, "Why did she…" he shook his head and grasped the rod. "What did she have to destroy it..the mirror.." he repeated his words over and over as the fishing line was reeled in with a very tired looking bass. The hook was practically swallowed as a hook clawed from the inside out into the fish's eye. "You sure got yourself good there.." link smiled, "Sorry about that.." his hand gently unhooked the fish. Though its eye was permanently scared and destroyed, most likely to die from loss eyesight.
