Time of the Cherry Blossoms
Time is fleeting, never patient, always out of grasp,
Early of moment is already too late.
Once upon time, a sea of infinite,
Like the sky, unknown of the time passing.
The private burden creating an entangling web,
Salvation of one could only free the soul,
Plagued to a life of love as foreign fantasies
Cherry blossoms bloom, their existence short.
The intoxicating aroma imprinted on the mind.
Fighting invisible demons, a new era began.
Those bittersweet recollections rewind and play.
Traces, tastes of lips, caresses against feverish skin.
Embracing those hidden terrors,
Burdening those curtained emotions on another,
No fear or guilt of judgment day,
The words of harsh which come along with confession.
Caught in a net of clouds, a heart barricaded by pure love,
The undreamed desire came true, so why did it end?
Extinguished as quickly as a flickering flame.
Everything has a beginning and an end.
Coming this close, just to fall far.
Protect the mending heart,
Don't cause anymore anguish.
How did the knight become the dragon?
The cherry blossoms are withering,
Death's decomposing breath ensnarls the beautiful blooms.
Retreating figure just deepens the wounds
Comforter of ebony night are those memories.
Hands enclosed, melting embraces,
A hammer to shatter those walls.
Opening up is such a hurtful happiness,
Something so fragile like silk over glass.
The blisters on the heart just don't seem to heal,
The tattle-tale tears trailing down cheeks.
Bound in chains of love,
The only hope is the a new beginning of cherry blossoms.
