A lifetime of hurt left behind part one

*Blaze stood on the mountain top looking at the picture of her dead lover and father of her unborn child. His name Verine...he died at the hands of Ram, leader of the technos.*
"Why Verine? Why did u have to do it?"
*Verine was condemed to die beacause he keept the secret of Ebony and Jay's relationship*

"Blaze....I can't do this anymore."
"Then tell him V..."

"Oh Verine...I should have never told you to tell Ram...look at what happened"
*A single tear rolled down her ivory skin. The wind whipped up through her straight aubern hair. She ripped up the picture of Verine and threw it to the wind. He was gone out of her life forever. She rubbed her slighty growing stomach. She was four months along.*
"Blaze...are you ready to go?"
*She slighly jumped as a hand touched her bare shoulder.*
"Yes...I am. Jay?" She called to him after he began to walk away.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing..."
"Come here darling."
*She walked to his embrace. They had grown closer before and after Verine's condemtion and death. Jay felt for her. She was all alone in a very needy time. Four months pregnant. Ram had ordered for her to be watched constantly while Verine was being questioned. Jay new Ram cared deeply for Blaze. Like he cared for Ebony, Java and Siva.*

"How could he do this Jay? How could he tell Ram!"
"What?!?! Verine is going to die Ebony don't you understand that? He is going to die for us!!!"
"Oh give it up Jay. You know you don't care about him one way or another."
"He is my friend Ebony. Not only that...think about Blaze and the baby! What about them!"
"Who cares...Ram will most likely take them in and raise the child. Why do you care anyways...?"
"Ebony....I love her...more than you will ever know!!! And if you feel that way about her and Verine...then im sorry...but we can't be together."

*Jay kissed Blaze's forehead lightly as they joined the others*
"As we leave the past behind...we start a new begining."
"Bray...your starting to sound like Danni.." Salene said making the others laugh.
"Oh shut up Salene...Blaze do you have anything you would like to say?"
"Yes..I want to say thank you to each of you. You all have supported me and given me a place to stay. And a place where my baby can be safe. And Jay..i want to thank you for everything you've done for me. I am very greatful to you."
*Blaze looked him in the eyes and smiled. He had taken care of her for a long time now. She new she was begining to fall for him. Surprised Jay leaned in and kissed her lightly on the lips.*
