"What is that white substance?"

"Fluff." Rizzoli raises her eyebrows, how can Maura not know what it is?

"Like downy particles of cotton?" Okay she really didn't know what it is.

"It's marshmallow."

"And the brown substance is called peanut butter. It's ground up heavy oily particles of peanuts." The pointed look which she received in return make Jane smirk. Of course Maura knew what

"It's good." Maura smiled, she truly appreciated the simplistic pleasure of a peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich.

"I really did like the marshmallow fluff and peanut butter sandwich."

"Can we not talk about this over a dead body?" Jane was disgusted, how can you discuss food over a deceased person's body? Although considering Maura was a coroner, and she did this every day, Jane still found it gross.

"It makes me wonder though, how did I miss out on something simple like that?

"Well, you just did." Jane shrugged her shoulders.

"What else have I missed out on? Why did I miss out on a simple pleasure like a sweet sandwich?"

Although she was raised in a upper class household, Maura missed out on the simple childhood pleasures of sandwiches and other things like playing in dirt, falling off bikes and other childhood activities.

"Maybe I'll get you to like beer next." The thought of Maura drinking beer made Jane laugh and Maura cringe.

"I highly doubt that." Jane chuckled, and looked back at the body.

"Anyway, Jane, about the tox screen, I could run it for the rest of my life and not find anything…"
