Chapter 1
As the breeze gently blew past the cherry blossom tree, leaves began to fall in Hanako's garden. The sun was starting to set, the land fell silent. The only noise that could be heard was the faint noise of trickling water from the river the was flowing round the outskirts of Hanako's village.
"Hanako! The sun is setting, it is time for bed," Hanako's mother shouted from the house. She closed the door and looked put the window as she waited for her.
Hanako, who was sitting underneath the cherry blossom tree, quickly got to her feet and raced inside. She opened the door and ran straight into her room.
" Someone's in a hurry," Hanako's mother said, standing in the doorway while her daughter was putting on her nighttime kimono.
" Well Okasān, I've got a very big day at school tomorrow. It's the beginning of the Toshi No Doragon," Hanako said to her mother, pulling back the covers for her bed and beginning to lie down to sleep.
" I do hope you have a good jikan," Hanako's mother replied, closing the door and leaving her daughter to get to sleep.
" Hikari no hi, kagayaki no-tame-ni watashi-ni," Hanako sang to herself, drifting off to sleep.

Chapter 2
Within the mountains of the Yami Pass, a great rumbling sound can be heard from miles around. Village people who lived near the pass were advised to evacuate, because it was coming.
"The myth is real! Za- Doragon is coming to getto us all!" A villager screamed, running away from the village and over the hills.
"It is coming to the Tani No Heiwa!" Another villager shouted at the rest, dropping his groceries and also running for his life.
All the villagers of the once quiet place were now loosing their homes, as fireballs were shooting down from the sky there was no hope left.
Most villagers decided to help defend the people, while others went to the Wise Elder for answers.
"A warrior of peace and a kind hearted one will rise, more-so an adventurer... Who seeks what lies..." The Wise Elder said, gathering all the villagers into her home.
And with that one moment that might've not been there the next, the village was crushed... By on of Japan's most mythical creatures...
