After finishing the first fanfic I ever wrote, I decided to try to do a Bible fic. I don't know how it shall turn out, but reviews would be more than appreciated.

The end is near. I can feel it. The ones who oppose Me shall soon have Me, and then My job shall truly begin. I can feel My Father watching Me, guiding Me. "You can do it, my son," He says gently. Why, then, am I so desiring an escape. I can feel the evil one laughing at the anguish on my face.

"Do You really think that You can bear the burden of sin?" he hissed into My ear. "You could run. You could deny this lunacy and live."

I nearly listened to him, but My Father warned me. I had to be rational. For this cause, if nothing else. I had come to the Earth as a man for this reason. "Ah, your tricks do not work with Me. You could have been in heaven, fallen one. But you had to fight My Father. It is not I that suffers, but you. And you will feel the ultimate pain... the time comes."

I turned away from him and sank to My knees. I needed strength from My Father. I would pray. "My friends, stop resting and pray. You shall need it." They obeyed.

"Father, My heart is heavy, and I fear that I may fail this. Give Me strength, Father, and let Your will be done rather than Mine. And let them believe so that they may live forever. I thank You for letting Me glorify You in this way, and I shall soon see You again. Amen."

The evil one rolled his eyes. "Why do You cry to one that would have You condemned for the wretched ones?"

"You are the evil one. This has been My Father's plan from the beginning. I am overjoyed to do this in His honor, and for My people."

"You shall not look overjoyed when they are beating You."

"Perhaps not, but I shall let it be done. I will sit at the right hand of the Creator in Heaven. Would you like to witness this happen, fallen one?"

"Do I wish to watch YAou die? Do I wish to see my Creator die and writhe in agony? Yes, of course I do. I will be there. Best of luck to You."

Knowing that I would do these things for My Father, knowing that it would save My people was enough for Me to endure the pain. "Which of you is Jesus?"

"I am He," I called to them, and let them drag Me away in the name of My Lord.
