Yesterday I bared most of my soul to you,
And I hope you understand.

Things I've kept to myself,
I'm suprised that I trusted you.
I've been hurt before.
I thought I'd learned my lesson,
Maybe I learned something different.
I haven't trusted anyone
For so long.
I've been hidden inside,
away from everyone else.
I hope my trust in you is right.
If you knew what it meant to me,
How badly I was hurt before,
How alone I feel,
Then you'd understand.

And tell everyone.

I feel so vulnerable now,
And a single word could hurt me.
Don't take advantage ,
of my trust in you.

And that I can trust you.
