Dear Zee,
I'm sitting on an incredible beach. I'm surrounded by soft white sand and deep blue sea. Far away, through the hazy pink clouds, the brilliant yellow sun is setting.
To my left, a few sailboats are heading in to shore. To my right, children are laughing and playing. I am reminded of little Kora-Kay, and our time spent sailing on the same beach where we met Wade Pennington. All I can hear is the gentle lap of the waves on the shore and the faint cries of seagulls. The sun has been darkened by the clouds enough that I can stare right at it, savoring its glorious descent.
As I relax on the sand, I can smell the salt in the air. It is intoxicating, bringing back memories of laughter and carefree fun. There is so much beauty around me and yet,
All I can think of is you.
-Ro.
