Panting, as though he had run a mile, Luigi burst into castle with an aged piece of paper in one hand and a pair of startlingly white gloves.
"Mario! Mario!" He yelped, wafting the paper around in the air, just a couple of inches away from Mario's face, "Itsa the Princessa! She's been kidnapped!"
Mario sighed. Princess Peach was kidnapped practically every week and it was starting to get on Mario's nerves. In fact, if Mario hadn't fallen in love with her then he would have given up rescuing her by now.
"Show me the paper." Mario said standing up from his stool.
Luigi thrust the paper into Mario's hand but as he stepped backwards, he tripped and fell into the oak table behind him where Daisy had been playing chess with Koopa Troupa.
Daisy scowled at Luigi as the game went crashing to the floor and stood up in rage.
"Honestly! Why do you have to be so clumsy?" Daisy huffed, and then turning to Koopa Troupa, "Come on. We're going to play chess somewhere else."
As they left the room with chess pieces grasped in their hands, Mario turned to Luigi who then shrugged.
"Itsa not my fault. I have big feet."
And with that Luigi plodded out of the room, leaving Mario shaking his head.
Then with slumped shoulders Mario too began to leave the room, when a painting of Princess Peach caught his eyes.
Bellissima, he thought, Bellissima.
Without thinking, he suddenly said aloud, "To another quest! Let us save the Princessa once more!"
