Asuka was probably the happiest person ever! She had many loyal (and fashionable) friends, she had a totally, hot boyfriend, and was now a graduate of Dueling Prepschool. What more could you want? Well, one day, Asuka's world crashed. How? Well, it all started way back..
Asuka stood in front of her mantel with about 15 girls by her side.
"Are you ready for your engagement?" one of them asked.
"You know it! He's had proposal eyes all week!" Asuka said.
"You'll knock him dead with that outfit!" another girl added.
They all buzzed around Asuka until every blonde curl was in place and every stray, pink thread of her gown was trimmed.
"GO GET HIM GIRL!" they yelled after their friend, as she walked out the door and into her boyfriend's car.
Tonight will be life changing.. She thought.
"So, what are you thinking, Ryo?" Asuka asked as she put down her iced tea.
"Well, I was thinking of becoming a pro duelist," he replied.
"That's fantastic!"
"Well," Ryo sighed. "That's kind of why I wanted to talk to you about.."
"What is it?"
Is he going to ask me to marry him or not? Asuka thought. I didn't buy this new dress for nothing!
"I need to take action.."
Ryo held Asuka's hand.
FINALLY! She thought. Ok, don't cry...
"I've got some dreams to make true," Ryo said. "It's time to get serious. Asuka.."
Asuka bit her lip in excitement.
"We're breaking up."
"WHAT?! Why?!"
"No offense, Asuka. You're not exactly the most serious person in the world."
"But-"
"I got to go."
And Ryo went off.
"But..I'm seriously in love with you..."
"WHAT?!"
"Yes," Asuka said to her friends, as tears dripped down her face.
The girls yelled back and forth to each other.
"CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!" and "That boy is crazy!"
As the girls bickered back and forth, Asuka noticed a magazine on the coffee table. She skimmed through the pages and found an article for Duel Academy. There were two girls on the page, each in a blue uniform.
It hit Asuka.
"That's it!"
The girls stopped yelling and looked over at her.
"This is the kind of girl he wants! I know how to get Ryo back. Girls, I'm going to Duel Academy!"
