So I'm looking for this Delena story. Well from what i can recall is tat Damon was on his way to propose to Katherine his current girlfriend because i think his dad is making him I'm not sure. well on the way there word got around to the public that he was proposing but they ended up getting him proposing to Elena, some stranger on the street, but Elena doesn't like him so he pays her to keep up appearance and to piss off his father. he had put the ring in a fortune cookie and Elena mistakenly took the wrong one and he chased her to get it back and the media ends up following him and seeing him show Elena the ring.
