Author's Note: This has been on my mind for a while now and I figure now would be the perfect time to put my thoughts into paper. This is my first NCIS fanfiction and I do hope you enjoy it. The writing style is similar to Ellen Hopkins. If you don't know who she is, I suggest looking her up and getting a copy of one of her novels. She has written mostly Young Adult novels though they deal with issues such as drugs, mental health, abuse and others. She has a few adult novels out there as well.

I will keep this in third person but some upcoming chapters may or may not be written in first person. We'll see where this story goes. This first chapter is nothing but a filler, a little background into the characters I will introduce in this story. The second chapter will take place sometime after season 10. Depending on where this story line goes, I will even include the upcoming season 11 of NCIS.
