Sting X Yukino ~ Meeting
Seven years ago Fairy Tail was the strongest guild in Fiore; now it was Sabertooth. This was Yukino's number one reason for wanting to join in the first place. But for the past three years Sabertooth's Master, Jiemma, turned her away saying that only the strong could join Sabertooth and that she was better off joining a weaker guild. This only made Yukino want to join even more.
So every year she was turned away Yukino trained herself both mentally and physically while also hunting down celestial spirit keys. Thanks to Lucy Heartifila, Fairy Tail's once lost celestial wizard was actually kind of hard. Lucy had ten out of twelve golden zodiac keys and Yukino had the last two. Although Yukino did have more combat ready silver keys then Lucy and could summon more than one spirit at a time, without training herself to be combat ready Yukino would lose easily in a battle.
Then one year, a week after being turned away for a fourth year, Yukino heard that Fairy Tail's lost wizards had been found and returned home. Upon hearing this Yukino ran back to Sabertooth. Maybe Jiemma changed his mind now that Fairy Tail was back. She thought.
On her way Yukino wasn't paying attention to where she was going and ran into someone, knocking her to the ground. When Yukino looked up she found a slim, yet muscular and toned young man. He had a small scar on one of his eyebrows and looked to be about nineteen.
"Are you alright miss?" He asked reaching out with his left hand to help Yukino up. As Yukino stood she saw a white Sabertooth mark on his left shoulder. Yukino took in his appearance and knew just who she had run into.
"Sting Eucliffe, Sabertooth's white dragon slayer…." Yukino was shocked that she ran into the Sting Eucliffe, one of the twin dragon slayers of Sabertooth.
"Yeah, that's me and you are?"
"My name is Y-Yukino, "
"Um, you don't have to put Mr. in front of my name. I'm not that old…" Sting held up his hands in a playful surrender. Yukino watched as Sting smiled and asked why she was in town. She told him that she was there because she wanted to join Sabertooth.
Sting smiled and asked what kind of magic she practiced, so Yukino showed him her celestial keys. Sting seemed happy that Yukino wanted to join Sabertooth, but when she told him how often Jiemma turned her away and why, he seemed confused.
"You seem strong to me, maybe if you have someone in the guild to vouch for you…" Sting seemed in deep thought when suddenly he grabbed Yukino's shoulders. "I know! Rogue and I are about to go on a job, why don't you come with us and show us what you got?"
He seemed so happy with his idea, but Yukino had to resuse. She couldn't just tag along like a puppy. She had to join on her own and get her own job.
"Um.. well, I guess I can't just you know… throw you over my shoulder and dunno… kidnap you in till the job is over?" Yukino was so confused by his um's and uh's that she didn't notice she was over his shoulder and he was running toword the train sation.
"Mr. Sting put me down!" Yukino yelled. "Please!"
