Money had never been an issue to the young Shinigami before. When your father was the most important man in Death City, and a Death God to boot, money tended to flow in like a constant stream.

Kid rarely dug into his savings for anything- only to buy Beelzebub, and to pay for repairs when that stupid, bratty, asymmetrical Black*Star destroyed something at Shibusen. You had to pay big money to get symmetry these days.

And, of course, when Liz or Patty needed something (although cheap magazines, he payed for with the money he earned from completing his regular missions). He could hardly resist spoiling his two, sister-like partners. And when they wanted something, they usually got it- regardless of how much Kid didn't want them to have it.

Yes, Kid was good at saving his money.

Except, a small voice in the back of his head reminded him, for when you have to buy those two engagement rings for Maka.

The amber-eyed teen nodded to himself. It'd be even more expensive for him because he had to buy two rings. After all, she had to have two to be symmetrical. But, again, you had to pay big amounts if you wanted symmetry.

Realizing that his train-of-thought had gone off-track, he turned his mind back to the matter at hand.

Sitting in the centre of his couch, he turned a coin between his smooth, pale hands. Money was good, and could be used to purchase many things.

But why did the coin have to be so asymmetrical?
