A/N: ok this has been bothering me for a while. In "Beyond Repair" Samantha Sobreiki gave Carter a note, but the silly powers that be never told us what it said. So hears my take on what it might have said.
Doctor Carter,
This is my attempt for an apology, I know that nothing will fix what my husband has done though. He has a heart, and a mind, and a very loving soul, but he has made mistakes too, major mistakes. I had his child, nothing will change the love I had for him, but I also have a deep respect for you as well. I would do anything to undo what Paul has done. But I can't. Please, I understand what you must feel towards Paul but you have to know that he's changed. He has help, my help, and support. I would never ask you to forgive him or even condone his actions but I just thought you should know. He has a job now, he's happy. We're happy. He needs me, and I need him. I don't really know what else to say. I am sorry that you found out about his release this way but he is doing better. I visit the cemetery every day you know.I never see you there though. You should go, its called closure for a reason and from what I saw today, you haven't had any closure. We have, not that we need it, but you do. By the way, our daughter's middle name is Lucy. I will pray for you.
