Berries and flowers and you.

Authors Note: IT'S SO FLUFFY!

'Sesshomaru sama!' Sesshomaru turned his head at Rins call but didn't move from his spot against the tree, instead waiting for Rin to come to him, as she always did. When she at last stopped in front of him, bending down to rest her hands against her knees as she got her breath back, he was unsurprised to see her hair festooned with flowers. He was surprised however when she straightened and he saw her face. Rasberry juice was smeared across her eyelids, cheeks and lips so that they glistened and she had even found blueberries with which she had painted a crescent moon on her forehead…Interesting…

"Sesshomaru Sama! Rin has made a song for you!' She declared, smiling widely whilst raspberry juice dribbled down her chin. Taking his silence as compliance, Rin shuffled until she stood directly in front of him, throwing her arms wide she took a deep breath-

"Rin likes flowers!

Cause they are very pretty!'

At this Rin held her hands up to her head, framing the mirage of flowers entwined within her hair.

"Rin also likes walking!

And skipping and jumping and stuff!'

Rin skipped around as she sang, before holding her hands against her stomach.

"Rin also likes food!

Cause food is good!

Rin likes flowers!-'

"You've already said that one Rin." Sesshomaru interuped, raising as eyebrow as Rin made a 'shushing' gesture with her hands'.

"But not as much as she likes Sesshomaru samaaaa…

Because he is pretty...like flowers!

Belting out the last note, Rin bowed appreciatively to her silent audience before smiling widely at Sesshomaru. There was a beat of silence as Sesshomaru tried to ignore the ringing in his ears, before leaning forward and petting Rin affectingly on the head, trying to avoid getting berry juice on his sleeve.

"Thank you Rin." It did not seem possible for her smile to grow any brighter, but it did, before she turned and skipped off into the wood, quite likely to collect more flowers.

"Sesshomaru sama…" The quiet exhale of his name stopped him as no screaming from his brother could, forcing him to look over his shoulder at Rin. The little girl he had saved had grown and was now seventeen summers old. He had left her in the care of Kaedes village and they had raised her well.

"Are you really leaving again, Sesshomaru sama?" 'Leaving me' was left merely implied. Each year on her birthday he had come to the village and brought her gifts, beautiful bowls, clothes and trinkets he had found on his journeys, yet each year her smiles had been less brilliant. Sesshomaru could not understand the difficulty in replying to her question, why his throat felt full. So instead he merely nodded, continuing to walk away when a small warm hand grabbed his own. Once again he stopped to look down upon Rins dark hair, her face hidden again his sleeve.

"I have a song for you Sesshomaru sama." She did not wait for his consent before starting.

"I like flowers.

But not as much as you.'

Rin shifted slightly so that her dark eyes caught and held his as she sang.

"I like walking.

Only if you're there too.

I like food.

Let me make some for you.

I like flowers.'

Here Rin drew back completely, staring deeply into her Lords eyes, who noted absently that she no longer needed berry juice to darken her lips-

"But I Love you."

And that she tasted just as sweet.
