3 Words Says It All
Nessie had always loved her Daddy and Mummy, but out of them both, she felt she had a better connection with her Dad. He was always there when she needed him, and always supported her no matter what. If she couldn't sleep, he would always play the piano for her. It always brought tears of joy and happiness when she heard her lullaby flow out of the piano, with her Daddy's long, pale fingers hitting the keys. Mummy was beautiful and smart, with a great love for Nessie, but Daddy held the protective streak all Daddies had, which made her feel safe being around him. If she was scared, his velvet voice would speak words of comfort to her, telling her Daddy would always be there to keep her safe. So when they exchanged the 3 words that say it all, she knew they were true.
"Nessie", Daddy said, looking into her chocolate brown eyes. "I'm going to say 3 words that say it all. The way I feel whenever I think of you. The way I feel when I look at you. Do you know what those words are?"
"Yes Daddy. I think so, because those words say it all for me too."
"And what are those words then Nessie?"
Taking a deep breath, she smiled, knowing these 3 words were special.
"I Love You."
