He could hear his heart screaming for him to stare at her for a little bit longer, but his beain is saying that he should turn around and never look back again.

In the end, he had no choice but to give in to his emotions.

He rose up to heaven, defying gravity.

But it was all just an illusion, he slipped, and fell from cloud nine.

oOo

He loves the way she walks, he loves the way she talks, he loves the way she chases after him with a mop.

He hated the way she cried, he hated the way she looks at other boys, he hated the way she says "I hate you".

He had a chance to escape to a place where no one knows before she comes looking for him, but instead, he said:

"Will you come with me for the last ride?"

oOo

She was his Pandora, the one and the only.

But he destroyed her with his own hands, shattering her into millions of tiny pieces.

Several years after, he asked himself, would he still be able to leave knowing she would be heartbroken

He said yes, because he knows he'll be the one heartbroken if he doesn't.

Please, just let him be selfish for once.

oOo

When he finally found the gem he had been looking for, what he saw wasn't the hidden red stone inside it.

Instead, he saw theirpast, his memories.

and then, a pistol fired, with the bullet aiming for his heart.

You know, the moment just before you die, your memories come flashing back to you?

That was exactly it.

But, he did not see nothing, except for the maiden, with messy brown locks, and sea blue eyes.

He died smiling.

oOo

He wished he never met her.

He wished he never fell in love with her.

He wished, he never disappointed her, for being such a jerk.

He wished he never pushed that wooden frame.

He wished he never started seeking revenge for his long-gone father.

He wished, he never regretted dragging her into all this, and wounded himself for it.

He wish all his wishes came true.

He wish, he never thought of them.

oOo

He used all his strength to push her away from him. He cooked up some pathetic lie and left her all alone, by herself.

But when he came crawling back to her, she just embraced him.

No complaints, no worries, not even a "I wish you never went away".

But he knows, she already left him.

And she took him with her.

oOo

She's like a fairy. Small, but mischievous. She stole his heart and never gave it back. But he likes it that way.

She's like the sun and he's her sunflower. He trusted her with his emotions.

Even if she did left him for other men, he would still try to bring himself to congratulate her.

And he'll still be hers, heart and soul like a marionette.

oOo

He didn't want to see her carrying all the burden on her shoulders. He wanted to embrace her in a hug and tell her everything would be fine, even though he doesn't have a proper place to.

He wanted to hide her away in his jewellery box, where she could only hear good news from him. And whenever there are storms and wars, he'll cut any connections from her, to the terrifying scene. Even though, he knew she would be much happier out in the wild.

He is willing to do anything just for her sake, for her to love him back.

But, like all heroes, he made a deadly mistake.

And he lost her forever.

Author's blabber: Terrible day, terrible school excursion! :( We had to go to the zoo, in freezing weather, in the rain! So now writing is pretty much the only thing that cheers me up right now. Arm relatively sore from needles and medicines, but anyway, hope you enjoyed it. :)
