Disclaimer: I do not own PJO (But seriously, does anyone really think that the creators of these books and shows are writing fanfiction for their own show? Actually that would be awesome.)

Hello fellow PJO fans. I know it's short but I just got the idea and I wanted to end the chapter there. (I promise if there's at least 5 reviewers then I will update at least every day unless I cant. Then at least every week.)* I was recently reading this forum about challenges. Well I didn't feel like putting it in a category so I will just write it out here. For a quick story or for a few chapters. Write about the demigods somehow switching their powers. Doesn't matter who or how or who gets whose powers. If anyone ends up writing it paste the link or something in the reviews and I will look your story up.

I was sitting on a tree stump in Elysium talking to my good friend ,Silena. Beckendorf was off building some big contraption for Silena. "Luke, if you could go back and change the past, would you?" She asked me. "That's a random question. What makes you ask that?" I replied a little surprised by the out of the blue question. "I don't know. I was just thinking about everything that's happened and maybe it's stupid to think about but I guess I'm just wondering what if." Silena explained her reasoning with a sigh. "I don't know." I answered her not really thinking it over. She stared at me without saying a word as if urging me to seriously think about it. And I did.

I wasn't proud of my past and I certainly didn't believe I deserved to be here in Elysium. Yet here I was. I was such an idiot back then. I let my feelings control me and then I let everyone else control me. I envied Percy Jackson's role as the Savior of Olympus and his role in the prophecy. They said that in the end I was the true hero of the prophecy but I wasn't. I just ended the chaos that I had caused. You don't get an award for cleaning up your own mess.

I regretted everything since I joined up with Kronos. If I could change the past, I'd make everything right.

"Yes." I gave her my answer truthfully. "Really?" The daughter of Aphrodite seemed surprised by my answer. "Yeah. I mean it's true that the prophecy was fulfilled and that everything turned out all right in the end, but did it really? Kronos was defeated but to defeat him so many demigods lost their lives. And Thalia wouldn't have been forced to join the Hunters. Annabeth would still look up to me and I wouldn't have lost them as my family." I reasoned out feeling dejected after reminiscing the aftermath of the war.

Silena frowned. "Luke, I asked you that question because ever since you've been here you barely smile. I know you regret the past. I do too but we can't change it. We just have to learn to let go of our demons. We're here now and we deserve to be happy too." Silena put her hand on my shoulder in a comforting gesture.

She looked away for a moment lost in thought. Then she flashed a smile at me. "Trust me. This was how it was supposed to be. I'll admit that the journey was messy and many lives were sacrificed along the way but this is how everything was meant to be. I'm going to go look for Charlie. Alright?" She got up and walked out of the forest leaving me to contemplate her advice.

Suddenly a bright white light appeared in front of me. I looked around but no one else seemed to notice it. Hermes,my father appeared in front of me. "Son, You have done well yet you doubt your own actions. I overheard your conversation with Silena. Do you truly believe that if you can go back in the past that you can save everyone from Krono's wrath?" Hermes spoke to me. Even after all these years calling him my dad still sounded weird in my head.

"It's stupid. I know. But I just can't help but hate myself for everything I did. I could have stopped it but instead I was too caught up on my own problems. Also, I'm going to ignore the part about you "overhearing" my conversation." I replied honestly. He looked at me warily as if trying to decide something. Finally, he sighed.

"I shouldn't be doing this but as long as my dad doesn't find out, I can give you a second chance." Hermes whispered. I looked around. No one seemed to care about a god standing right next to me. He was offering me a second chance? What does he even mean by that? "How?" I asked him. He put his hands together. He proceeded to rub them together for a good minute. After a while a small flame appeared.

He picked up the flame and held it with his left hand. In his right hand he summoned a cup. He put the little tiny fire in his hands and carefully set it in the cup. The flames spread everywhere. Amazingly the cup held the fire without burning up in flames. But what else did I expect from a god? Hermes handed the cup to me. "Drink the fire and you will be able to travel to your past and try to right your wrongs. "I looked at the cup for a whole 5 minutes. Was he serious? How are you supposed to drink fire? And even so, how were you supposed to not burn yourself in the process? Interrupting my thought process, Hermes starts to laugh hysterically.

"You should have seen the look on your face kiddo. I'm a god for pete's sake I can transport you to the past if I want to." Hermes was rolling on the ground laughing for a while. After he was done being dramatic he stood up with a serious look in his eyes. "Good luck."He says. He claps his hands together and it was lights out for me as I spiralled back into the heart of my darkness.

I was still awake but I had no idea what was going on. It was like closing your eyes but not being able to see anything. Out of nowhere I heard a shout "Save Annabeth!" I would recognize that voice anywhere. Thalia Grace. Daughter of Zeus and tough as nails. She was the voice that had shouted.

I opened my eyes . I was in a forest. The one right outside Camp Half-Blood. I saw a seven year old blonde who looked scared but determined. I saw Thalia fighting this large hellhound. She was a couple of years younger but still very recognizable. It was happening. I knew the exact moment that my father had transported me too. This moment used to play a haunting role in my nightmares. This was the moment Thalia attacked the hell hound and got turned into a pine tree. I knew this was my second biggest regret of my past life. I had to save her this time. Before I knew it I was running as fast as I could toward her.

Apparently younger me had the same idea. We collided into each other. He looked up at me. "Who are you? You look just like me?" Younger Luke said to me. Suddenly I heard a scream. "THALIA!" Annabeth ,Younger Luke ,and I were too late. She was a pine tree and no hellhound in sight. Finally mini-me after getting over his shock starts yelling at me. "This is all your fault. I could have saved her. You killed her!" Mini-me yelled.

Was I really this angry all those years before? Annabeth comes over to Young Luke. "Who are you yelling at?" She questions. Yes ,curious as always. "Why don't you ask him yourself? He stopped me from helping Thalia!" Young Luke all but screamed. Annabeth look confused. "Luke? I think you hit your head. There's no one there."

I like trivia ,so quick question for any reviewers out there. Who was the first monster that Percy ever killed? Or in every book so far that has come out : Who all has admitted to having a crush on Percy? You can do either or both. Well hasta la vista for now but I'll see you tomorrow if I get any reviewers. Also in case I wasn't very clear. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REVIEW. I'm new , so reviews would boost my confidence to write my stories.

* I first wrote this 3 years ago and I'm kind of extremely sorry for my younger self. I'm going to try to update the two chapters I have and add more. What I wrote back then was very naive, especially the part about updating every day. That I cannot promise in the slightest but I can promise that any fans of the story if you're still out there, you won't have to wait more than a few months for another update. But if there is anyone out there who wants to adopt the story please raise your hand. Seriously, any takers message me. Thank you.
