Hello I'm back after a like two year creative disappearance with my first Shaman King fic. Enjoy.

Static, a flickering screen.

"Yoh, Yoh. Wake up."

Why can't someone turn of the TV I'm trying to sleep." Yoh thought moving to face away.

In another ear a silky voice whispered, beckoning him. "Sleep Yoh, close your eyes and sleep."

It felt so natural for Yoh to go back to sleep, the mounting weight on his shoulders told him so. Who would want to get out of their comfortable bed after all? But the staticy voice was persistent.

"Yoh, wake up! Yoh… Yoh."

Rolling over Yoh reached for his trademark headphones groaning. "I'm up, I'm up." His hand meet empty air as his eyes were opened and a massive wall of screens filled his vision. Every one of them was filled with the same image, Zeke holding out his hand to Yoh.

"Take my hand Yoh."

Outside

"Uggh. Why Yoh? Stop making this hard on yourself." Zeke told himself in a harsh whisper.

Len saw his opening and took it. Using Zeke's momentary lapse he charged in his sword changing shape. "Bason, hyper rapid tempo assault!"

Unfortunately for Len Zeke's momentary lapse in concentration did not prevent him from back handing Len to the ground.

"That all you've got?" Zeke taunted, forcing a smirk to hide the anger boiling within him at his brother.

Inside Zeke

"No, let me go Zeke." Yoh screamed scaning around for a way out. One of the screens faded to black and out walked Zeke, the original Zeke.

"How is it you are conscious? You are supposed to become a part of me." He remarked coolily.

"I can hear my friends calling to me, they haven't given up on me and I won't give up on them. I'll fight you here and they will defeat you out there."

Zeke began to laugh, not in his usual amused chuckle but a hearty laugh of someone slowly losing their sanity. "Fight me? Here? You have no power, no guardian ghost to protect you, no medium to fight with."

"That's not true. I can hear Amidamaru's voice. I just have to call him here. Amidamaru! I need you!" Yoh waited for his guardian ghost staring at the wall of screens desperate to see him emerge from one of them.

"Your guardian ghost cannot exist here, same as within the Babylon Gate. He is not powerful enough. Give this up and join me now, there is no way out." Zeke once again extended his hand to Yoh. While staring dumbfounded Yoh made a decision and took Zeke's hand.

Outside

"Finally. Yoh and I are now one." Zeke laughed as he saw the anger and hurt cross the faces of his dear brother's friends.

"No, Yoh." Morty sank to his knees. In that moment the world broke for Team Asakura. In response to his dead Zeke only laughed and began to ascend to the inner sanctum. With Yoh gone and Yoh's friends broken no one could stop him.

As Morty lifted his head expecting to witness the end of the world the spirit of fire disappeared. Zeke began to plummet downward.

"Master Zeke!"

More to come soon.
