Greetings everyone! I'm at it again!
This time, the story is about an alternate version of myself in a bit of a reverse Harem scenario. There will be some inappropriate moments, awkward moments, and maybe even some sweet stuff.
Inappropriate chapters will have a warning.
Anyway, here's the first chapter. It's a little depressing, just a fair warning.
A young woman stood out in the rain as the funeral came to an end. Her grandmother, her most favorite person in the world, had been buried about an hour ago...right before the storm. Her black makeup streaked down her face, caused by her tears and the rain that was dripping from the edges of the back sunhat she was wearing.
"I wish you didn't have to go so soon...now I'll be alone..." She sniffled as she traced a hand along the top of the heart shaped tombstone.
"Miss Delilah...your driver is ready to take you home." Said one of the deceased woman's close friends.
Delilah nodded a thanks and headed towards a black car driven by a man in a grey suit. The graveyard shrunk in the rearview mirror as the driver took Delilah to the home she would now live in by herself.
The large house was going to feel so empty now since none of the family ever came around anymore...
Once home, Delilah locked her grandmother's room and went to her own, passing two bedrooms that haven't been used in years.
As she sat on her bed, Delilah pulled out an envelope that her grandmother handed her the day before she died. Now was the time to read it.
"My beloved granddaughter,
I you are reading this, I have finally passed on. The house is yours, but you may want someone to move in with you so you don't attract any unwanted annoyances. Just read the attached poem and go to bed, you shall be safer once you wake up.
Love, Nan."
Delilah was confused as to how a poem would help her, but she pulled out a smallest piece of paper in the envelope and read it aloud. The words were written in a purple glittery ink and Nan's beautiful handwriting.
"Earth, water, wind and fire
Please lend me your magic, my desire.
Someone to guard my home and heart
Bring me love from worlds apart."
Delilah was even more confused than before, but simply changed into her pajamas and went to bed.
As she drifted to sleep, the words of the poem began to glow.
Male characters from fictional worlds became marked with one of two symbols, a rose or a heart, before they would start to disappear and leave copies of themselves in their place.
Two particular characters had a unique marking, though...a shield with a heart on it.
This group of characters would remain secret for a while, but when they make themselves known...
Delilah is in for one hell of a time...
Author's Note: Can you guess who the two special characters are? They aren't from the same fandom~
Also, take a guess at which fandoms will be included. If you can guess at least 3 out of the 6 fandoms, I may just give you a shout-out in the next chapter!
