Hi people! I'm back, but ha you don't kknow who I was, huh? Well if your can recall, I was a crossover freak. Heh, some of you'll remember me. :) I watched The Lovely Bones like a week ago and well... I didn't like the storyline, but loved the story itself. This is short because it's the proluge. IDK if I spelled that right lol. Hm, I need a beta-reader, PLEASE. And review, too. I'm also warning you I don't have much motivation so don't exactly expect frequent updates in the middle of the story. Well, Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do NOT own The Lovely Bones or Danny Phantom.
It was a cold chilly morning of a bright December 15th. A moving truck at decently arrived on time at the tall navy house. Etched on the foggy glass read a simple name "Fentonworks." It hung neatly over the snowy white door with a knocker shaped cleverly like a wandering spirit's whisp. The door clicked open as a redhead mother made her way over to the truck.
"You're finally here," she said with a smile, "Jack's already mourning for the fridge." She pulled her locks back in a ponytail and rolled up the sleeves of her long-sleeve shirt. "Ah, Jack, of course he is." A middle-aged man with silvery hair stepped off the truck in his black suit. "You leave, Maddie, I'll get everything set up. Get your errands done. I've been sitting too long." he reassured. Maddie nodded and went inside to fetch her family.
A smiling boy was walking through his new neighborhood with his hands in his pockets. He glanced every house briefly, taking it all in. Though one stood out. It was sending chills down his spine, making him stop and peer in the windows. All he could make out were the curtains pulled tightly together, as if hiding some weary mistake.
"Why hello there!" a middle-aged man with little hair on his head and a mustache came out from his car. He stretched out his hand for the boy to shake and he slowly took it. "Er, um hi." the boy coughed out. Why did he have to be polite? "Hey, you're that Fenton boy, right?" The man was forcing the conversation on him.
The boy nodded and walked off with his blank expression still planted. He kept walking, quickening his pace more and more until he was sure the man was a mile away. He turned back to look over while walking and felt himself bump into something. "Oof!" both he and his bumpee echoed.
"Oh, I'm so sorry! Hey, you're the new kid, right?" a glowing strawberry blonde with wavy hair smiled enthusiastically. "Yeah," he smiled," I'm Danny. Danny Fenton" This time Danny actually wanted to shake her hand instead of some odd man's. "I gotta get going. It's school time. I'm Salmon; like the fish. First name: Suzie. I'll see you around sometime!" she laughed as she walked off with her sister running to catch up from behind Danny.
