How To Train Your New Year's Eve Romance
New Year's was coming ever so closer on Berk, and Astrid had plans for her Hiccup. He had just came back from a flight with Toothless.
He saw Astrid waiting for him.
"Hey Astrid." Hiccup said getting off Toothless.
"Hey Hiccup." Astrid said
She hugged him.
"How was your flight?" Astrid said letting go
"Good, thank for asking." Hiccup said
"Have any plans for New Years?" Astrid asked
"Other than just counting down to the new year, just that." Hiccup said
"You want to spend New Year's with me?" Astrid asked blushing a bit
"Uh, sure. Sounds good with me. I'll let my dad know. Thanks Astrid." Hiccup said
Astrid walked away, and he went inside to tell his dad about Astrid.
"Hey dad." Hiccup said closing the door
"Hey Hiccup. How was your flight?" Stoik asked
"Good. Hey, about New Year's, Astrid invited me to spend the New Year's with her. Is it ok with you if I go with her?" Hiccup asked
"Yeah. Have fun." Stoik said
"Thanks dad." Hiccup said
Hiccup went over to Astrid's place.
He knocked.
"Hey Hiccup." Astrid said opening the door
"Hey Astrid. Want to go flying?" Hiccup asked
"Sure Hiccup! Just give me a minute." Astrid said closing the door
"Ok" Hiccup said
Astrid then came out, and she was ready.
Hiccup ran to get on Toothless, and he flew past Astrid's place.
"Follow me!" Hiccup said
"HEY! Wait for me!" Astrid yelled back as she took off
She soon caught up with Hiccup, they were side by side.
"I thought you were gonna wait for me." Astrid finally said
"You know Toothless, always wanting to get a head start." Hiccup said laughing
Hiccup and Astrid separated, then crossed paths forming and x in the sky.
As Hiccup was getting closer and closer to her, right as they formed the x, Astrid leaned up a bit, and kissed Hiccup mid-air. He was stunned by it. His eyes widened.
"What...just happened?" Hiccup asked
Toothless then hit tim
"Ow!" Hiccup said
He then landed, Astrid landed next to him.
"Well, that was fun! Wasn't it?" Astrid asked
"Y-yeah. It was fun." Hiccup said trying to hide his face blushing, it didn't work
"You got something else on your mind, I can see it" Astrid said in a teasing matter
"I have...nooo idea what you're talking about Astrid." Hiccup said
Astrid then got off Stormfly
"Follow me Hiccup." Astrid said romantically
"Oook" Hiccup said getting off Toothless
Hiccup followed Astrid back to her place, he was in for a surprise.
"Soo uh." Hiccup said as they went inside as he closed the door
"Shhhhh don't talk." Astrid said
She then put her arms around his neck.
"Astrid..uhhh." Hiccup said unsure of what to do
"What?" Astrid asked giggling
"I-I know that New Year's is supposed to be celebrated with someone you love, but-" Hiccup paused
"But you don't know if we're a couple?" Astrid asked
"Yeah. Are we?" Hiccup asked
"I would say so. Wouldn't you?" Astrid asked
Hiccup still didn't say anything
"Oh come on Hiccup, we've been through so much, and you still can't take your eyes off me." Astrid said
"How does she know that I look at her all day?" Hiccup thought to himself
"Y-yeah. I guess we are." Hiccup said zapping back into reality
"Good." Astrid said bringing Hiccup closer to her
The new year had came.
"Well, its the new year." Astrid said
"And?" Hiccup asked
"Kiss me." Astrid said blushing
Hiccup didn't even hesitate. He'd been waiting all his life for this moment. They kissed as if their life depended on it.
"Happy New Year Hiccup." Astrid said
"You too Astrid." Hiccup said
He kissed her again. This will be a new year, that will start off right for them.
