A.N.: As per a request, I have continued the Letter Series. I have a few more letters that I am currently working on and they will be posted as they are completed.
Disclaimer: I do not own Sherlock. Oh, but how I wish I did. Additionally, I reference Supernatural once, but I don't own that either.
The Letter J
1. Jam
Sherlock was very particular about his crumpets; only ones covered in jam, made by John would do.
2. John
The name tasted boring on Sherlock's tongue, but it belonged to the most extraordinary man Sherlock knew.
3. Joint
John quickly disarmed the man holding Sherlock hostage, by painfully breaking the man's arm at the joint.
4. Johnson
"Do you have any idea how many A. Johnson's there are, Sherlock?" John screamed during one case.
5. Jog
As 221b came into view Sherlock began to jog; no point rushing, John was not at home.
6. Jaundice
Sherlock's skin looked a bit jaundiced, but he would never admit it was the fault of the blond touching his John.
7. Joke
Lestrade grimaced at the pair as they left the scene giggling at their version of a joke.
By definition a joke is humorous, but their jokes were only funny to the two of them.
8. Justice
John has a highly developed sense of justice and has absolutely no qualms about destroying bad men.
9. July
After Afghanistan, John was used to hot, but Sherlock in short sleeves in July was too much.
10. Job
Sometimes John felt his surgery job was not real, and his real job was to mind Sherlock.
11. Joust
He would always rescue his damsel, even if it meant jousting with the entire criminal class daily.
12. Joy
Sherlock found no greater joy than solving an especially difficult case and returning home with his love.
13. Jealous
He was not jealous per say, but he did glare at the skull on a semi-frequent basis.
14. Jump
Sherlock didn't plan to love his flatmate, but when he finally figured it out he'd already jumped.
15. Jerk
John never should have introduced Sherlock to "Supernatural"; especially when their nicknames became jerk and bitch respectively.
16. Jumble
In the morning their arms and legs were always in a jumble no matter where they slept.
17. Junk
During a case on a Chinese junk, Sherlock got seasick, and John solved the case by himself.
