NCIS, Ziva/Abby, Lollypops
Ziva had come over to Abby's apartment to "gain a better appreciation for American culture." In reality, she was hoping to sit and snuggle with Abby while half paying attention to some movie that she couldn't care less about. And after a bit, Ziva would be able to successfully distract her girlfriend from said movie which would result, in her opinion, a more productive way to spend their evening.
Most of the movies that the two had been "watching" were anything from Watchmen to To Kill A Mockingbird, but the cover of the DVD case that Abby threw at Ziva when she walked through the door confused the spy. "Bright Eyes?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.
"You need an introduction to Shirley Temple. She's an American icon," replied Abby who had finished bringing a variety of snack food out to the table in front of the couch including chocolate bars, popcorn, and a gigantic Caf-Pow.
Ziva looked down at the curly-haired cherub on the cover again and shrugged before heading over to put it in the DVD player. She sat down on the couch next to Abby right as she pushed play on the remote.
It only took a few minutes for Ziva to get bored of the movie so she started to plan her attack. First, she inched closer to Abby and put an arm around her shoulders. Then, Ziva carefully guided Abby into her side which Abby snuggled into with a contented sigh, her eyes still glued to the TV screen. Now, normally, the next move was a few kisses which would quickly escalate and the two would have to move to the bedroom. However, for the first time, Abby dodged Ziva's advance and kept watching the movie while sipping on her Caf-Pow.
While unusual, Ziva was undeterred and decided to alter her plan of attack. A strategic move of her arm resulted in her hand on Abby's thigh where it started to move in circles. Abby allowed the hand to stay there, but when it started to inch up, she put her hand on it to freeze it in place. Figuring something was up, Ziva turned her attention back to the TV where music had started to play. Abby sat up and started singing along with the words, something about taking a ship called "Lollipop" to some place with candy where a "tummy ache" could result.
Once the song was complete, Abby paused the TV and turned to Ziva with a huge grin on her face. "Isn't that one of the coolest songs ever?"
Ziva looked at her girlfriend who was radiating happiness and could only smile in return. "Yes, my dear. It was wonderful."
"I'm glad you liked it," said Abby with a smirk before reaching on to the table to grab a bright blue lollipop which Ziva hadn't noticed before. "How about we continue with your activities now," she said while unwrapping the lollipop and putting it into her mouth before ever so slowly taking it out and licking it. Ziva could only stare for a moment before thanking whatever higher power had Shirley Temple sing that song.
