This is metaphor poem that I wrote in English class, and I was dozing over and thinking about the Outsiders (as usual). Then I somehow thought that this poem could've been part of the book (I'm pretty loopy sometimes). I then spent all of Chemistry how it could relate, and thought I figured it out.
So, this is how I see the way Dally feels about Johnny (in a brotherly protective way) and why he went crazy when Johnny kicked the can.
Enjoy!
I am a firefly smaller than a bug
Lighting up the sky while I give you a hug
I am the fog that gets in you way
Trying real hard not to sadden your day
I am the ice cooling your drink
Doing my job better than you think
I am the fireworks that lights your kiss
Making sure I'm the one that you'll miss
I am a penny so misunderstood
Knowing that I'm the only one who could
I am a wish, one long forgotten
Hoping for love never gotten
Ok, so lame or not?
Sorry if it was awkward and weird.
Please Review :D
