"Jeoffrey." A voice reaches out for me. I turn over.
"Go away." I reply.
"Jeoffrey wake up my lovely," the voice continues. I've grown to hate this voice. Through all the torture I've been through at this mans expense. Jeoffrey it's time to play!"
The lights flash on with a buzz. I pull my arm up and over my eyes. A pitted growl softly emerges from my mouth.
"Jeoffrey get up now or I'll pour lava on you."
"You wouldn't do that," I shout out into the above "I'm your pet. Surely you have some attachment to me that would ensure you don't hurt me."
"Well of course Jeoffrey but we have eternity in here. I need to get you up somehow."
"Fine." I roll onto my front and collapse my arms onto the floor. I push on them to drag my body off the floor, allowing me to get up. Standing I talk out into the dark space.
"I'm up." I say
"Thank you Jeoffrey. Now Jeoffrey, what do you want to do today?"
"Home?"
"Haha no. Jeoffrey, I think you misunderstood me when I said you were to be stuck here for eternity."
"No I understood you." I mutter under my breath.
"Well Jeoffrey, I have something special planned for today," He begins. "Today, you are going to be a penguin."
I sigh. My mouth uncontrollably yawns and I feel as though I'm about to fall. I through my hand out to stop me only to jerk it away once I realise I am touching the iron bars.
"Jeoffrey! Stop touching the bars! You should know they are electrical!"
"I forgot."
"Well fine." He adds. The cage door drops down to allow me down the path. I stumble out onto the path and down it until I reach an iron door. It opens. I walk inside. It closes behind me. A large long corridor lined by iron doors stands before me. One door lights up the surrounding doors.
"Now Jeoffrey, just walk to that lit up door over there."
I walk down the corridor. As I'm walking I look down at my hand. It has opted for a faded version of my original skin. I change my vision to look at the doors I'm passing. They each have an adjacent sign so I read them as I pass to keep me occupied. Crocodile sushi. Clay ducking. The room of three walls. Zombie apocalypse. I finally reach the door that is penguin riding.
"Perfect Jeoffrey. Now let me just open that...there."
The door opens. I scan the surrounding door signs before going through the door. One sign catches my attention:freedom. I look up and tentivalley look at the penguin riding door. Worth a chance.
"Actually..."
"What?"
"Can we do this one." I walk over to the supposedly freedom door to stand by it.
"I don't see why not. What does the sign say?"
"Umm...junior Jeoffrey."
"The polar bear?"
"Yeah."
"Oh! I love that one! Ok let's do that."
The door creaks open and I venture inside. It loses behind me and then the behind wall falls. I whip around. There is a waving purple glow, seemingly shapeless. It's only two blocks high. I walk into it. My eyes start to grow weary. There is a force that feels as though its pulling me in separate directions. A purple veil grows stronger and wraps round every limb. I close my eyes to shut it out. It stops. I open my eyes to find Garrick sitting at a desk. I ponder as to why freedom is behind Garrick. He pushes his head at the screen.
"BR3TON has left the game? What?!" He says, grabbing a microphone and pulling it to his lips."Jeoffrey, where are you? Jeoffrey?"
My eyes widen. I clasp my hand over my mouth to stop a gasp building in my chest. I lower my hand once I've stalled my gasp.
"Garrick!" I shout. He spins around in his chair. His eyes widen instantly at the sight off me.
"Oh. Hi BR3TON."
