Balloons and Bubbles
It is a lovely summer morning. It is a comfortable 75 degrees Fahrenheit with little humidity. A six-year-old is taking full advantage of the nice weather.
"Hehe! Get out the bubble solution daddy!" The blue-eyed girl is in a state of ecstasy.
"I think this stuff should make really big bubbles." Her father came out holding a bottle and a bubble wand.
"Ooh! That one was a foot across!"
"I've seen even bigger ones! I made this solution just for you Elizabeth."
"Thanks daddy!"
Little Elizabeth Wily played for an hour, mesmerized by the beautiful bubbles. She chased down the long-lasting ones and managed to hold some of them for a second or two. Her father, intelligent Dr. Albert Wily stood back in awe of her energy. The budding scientist was glad that his new bubble solution was working perfectly.
"All out."
"That's okay; we'll find something else to do."
"I have an idea!"
The clever little girl bolted up to her room. She took after her tinkering father, and created a material that acted like Mylar but was biodegradable. Clearly, she was much more advanced than the average six-year-old.
"Do you still have some helium or similar?"
"Yes, I do. What's the plan?"
"Dragon daddy!"
Using her nimble hands, the young blonde taped the bio-Mylar balloons together to make a Chinese-style dragon. Using long balloons, she made limbs, whiskers and a spiky tail.
"Perfect!"
"That's pretty impressive Liz."
"Hehe! Let's go launch it!"
The beautiful red dragon flew up out of sight.
"Yay! Dragon flies!"
"I wouldn't expect any less from you."
"Aww!" Hugging her father, the little girl blushed slightly.
