1. Show Me - Kid Ink

Calem looked at the small pokemon in front of him. It was tiny and green and Calem had no idea what to do with it. He briefly thought about asking his mother or even Yvonne on what to do. He thought for a moment before he spoke.

"Show me what you can do."

2. Thrift Shop - Macklemore and Ryan Lewis

Calem counted the money in his bag, then looked at his fletchling. The tiny bird pokemon had the grace to lower its head. He sighed and looked at his hat. The red cap was burnt beyond saving.

"Damn."

3. Chocolate - The 1975

Calem sat and counted his gym badges: Two. He paused and looked at Jaren, the quilladin looked back at him and grinned before it chased after Scott. The fletchinder would evolve soon, but for now he was amused by flying in circles.

"Come here."

4. Roar - Katy Perry

Calem growled as he swung on another rope. Gym leaders were insane, he decided. When he got to the top, he released Scott from his poke ball. The talonflame easily won against all of Ramos' grass-types and Calem rewarded the fire bird with a poke puff.

"Well done."

5. Talk Dirty - Jason Derulo

Calem bit down the urge to curse. He had Jaren attack the last thing between himself and the Voltage Badge. The emolga evaded the attack.

"Fucking hell."

6. Radioactive - Imagine Dragons

Calem looked at all of the kimono and immediately thought of his mother. His mind was not on the battle when Valerie called out her sylveon. He watched her furosode sway back and forth and he found Scott reprimanding him.

"Sorry, it's just…"

7. Take Me Home - Cash Cash

Calem was beginning to severely dislike his pokemon journey. All he wanted to do was go home. Then her thought of his father… his unbendable will and Calem sighed. His parents were great trainers, but he wasn't nearly so great. He bit back a foreign curse. Why did his parents decide to move to Kalos of all regions?

"Oh well."

8. Thinking About You - Calvin Harris

Calem looked around at the rubix cube of a gym and smiled. He released Scott from his poke ball and let the talonflame fly around. The gym trainers looked at him like he was crazy, but Wulfric smiled and welcomed him to use Scott in battle.

Wulfric was a hard opponent, but he was the eighth gym leader for a reason. Calem smiled when Wulfric handed him the Iceberg Badge.

"Congratulations!"

9. We Are Young - Fun.

The final battle between Yvonne and him was a tie. She knocked out Jaren just as Jaren knocked out her starter. Calem smiled and laughed as Shauna healed both of their pokemon.

Yvonne frowned at him and even Shauna wondered about his mental stability.

"We're young, so let's worry about who's better later."

10. Burn - Ellie Goulding

Draco stood his ground against Diantha's gardevoir. He refused to let Calem down and Calem gave out commands in an even voice as the fairy-type tried to knock out Draco. The intensity of the match was not lost on Calem, this was a Championship match and he was very close to winning. He gave Draco one final command.

"Poison Tail."
