The Call
The night was cold and rainy; Harry sat inside his warm house everything was quiet except for the crackling of the fireplace. Harry sat in silence remembering the night when he fought alongside his friend Peter, the night he almost died in order to save his best friend.
The phone rang disturbing his train of thought; he went over and picked it up. "Hello" he said wondering who it could be since Marry Jane was not home tonight and Peter was busy as usual. "Hello Harry Osborn I have a request for you, agree and everything will be fine, disagree however and things will get messy." The voice was cold like steel, serious in tone and to the point. Harry did not recognize the voice, nor did he know how this person had gotten a hold of his personal home number "Who are you and how do you know who I am." Harry demanded. "Oh I know much about you Harry, about your father and his death and how he was the Green Goblin, about your friends and who you hold dear. I know more then you think. Who I am is not important, what I want you to do however is." The voice said. "I'm not interested in what YOU want me to do." Harry was about to hang up the phone "What if I said I had your friend MJ here as well as your friendly neighborhood Spiderman, and let's just say if you don't do what I want you to they will be how can I put this dead like your father." The man's voice was sincere about his promise and Harry could tell this was no joke. "Fine what do you want me to do?" he asked "Hand over your company, your formula, and your life, but then again you could try and play hero and come save your friends. That would be amusing to. Whichever it's your choice, choose wisely." The man said before he hung up.
Harry stood for a second stunned at what had just a happened. The power he held if put in the wrong hands could turn out to create a mess, and if the person got a hold of what he wanted to, even if his friends were set free the person could easily come and harm them. "What should I do as well as where is this man located?" Harry finally decided that the best choice would be to go and save them himself, since if he did give the mysterious man what he wanted he could still come back and harm his friends or himself.
