(Remember the scene of the Azumanga Daioh manga and anime that Tomo got scratched by Maya because she did something harsh to him? Well I decided to come up with a heartwarming fanfic about that, only it takes place after the end of the series!

So grab some tissues and prepare to read this fanfic because this is gonna be a tear-jerker!)

I'm sorry, Maya

It was 10 years later after the Azumanga Daioh series ended. As Tomo and Yomi are married. So does Sakaki, Kagura, Chiyo(since she got back from America), and Osaka. They were at Masamune Sakaki and Ryoko Kagura's house, hanging out. They were having fun until Tomo looked at Maya...and is starting to regret about the incident back then. Tomo's guilt finally got into her. So for the first time ever, she's gonna do the right thing.

" Um, Masamune?" Tomo gets Masamune's attention.

" What is it, Tomo?" Masamune looked at Tomo.

" Is it okay I can say something to Maya?" Tomo said. Tomo's friends and wife looked at her.

" You're not planning to do something stupid to Maya again, are you?" Yomi felt concerned. Tomo shook her head.

" Nope. This time, I'm gonna do the right thing." Tomo told Yomi. They looked at each other.

" O-okay, Tomo. But this better not be a trick." Masamune felt worried. Tomo walked up to Maya. Maya glared at her. Tomo kneeled down...and pet Maya on the head. Maya felt confused. And did the others.

" Maya, I-I'm sorry about what I did back then. I know that kinda cruel of me to piss you off. I-*sniff* I didn't mean it! I was jerk back then! I didn't know what to behave and...I wasn't acting an adult! I'm sorry, Maya! Please forgive me!" Tomo cried as the guilt got into her more. Tomo's friends and Yomi looked at her...and felt bad for making Tomo learned her lesson(even though she deserved it). Maya also felt bad for Tomo for scratching her and walked up to Tomo. Maya cried too, saying I'm sorry to Tomo as well and forgives Tomo. They both make up and Tomo hugged Maya. Tomo's friends and Yomi couldn't believe it and are proud of Tomo for doing the right thing.

" You apologized to Maya? That's awesome! I guess you're not a bad person at all!" Ryoko started to cry happily.

" I guess you did learned your lesson, Mrs. Tomo." Osaka smiled. Yomi was glad her wife finally make up with Maya.

" You changed, Tomo. You finally did what we're trying to tell you...and did! I'm proud of you!" Yomi hugged her wife. They all gave Tomo an applause because Tomo did as she was told. The friendship bond of both Tomo and Maya had already begun...

(And that's the heartwarming story of how Tomo apologized to Maya. You gotta admit, she did the right thing!
