It was dark and dismal as she made her way down the streets of Diagonally. She was curvy and on the smaller side of average height. Her golden brown hair was pulled up and into a high ponytail, it showed off an elegant neckline that melted into a red tank top. Her crystalline eyes moved from store to store as her mind remembered the first time she was in each. All the stores she remembered from her school days were boarded up and shut down. Her blue jean Capri clad hips swayed with grace that was not human as she moved on to the shop she needed to see the most. Her red all star converses stopped in front of the frozen yogurt shop and she stared at the run down building. A memory flooded into her mind but she shook it off before it had a chance to take root, but not soon enough, a tear ran down her cheek. She wiped it away before who ever had come up behind her had a chance to see it.
She turned to greet the fallen angel. His golden hair fell around him and over the left half of his face to hide the reason she called him fallen. His eyes were the palest blue she had ever seen and his face was elegant as if carved to be on the canvas of a thousand artists. He was dressed casual compared to his normal attire. He wore blue jeans that seemed painted on and a long black trench coat was done up hiding the long sleeve, black satin shirt underneath. He was looking at the building. He turned to face her and his hair moved slightly and gave away a glace of the scared wreckage that lay hidden underneath. In her opinion he was still one of the most beautiful men she had ever seen the holy water scars just added to that beauty. He traced a finger down the path the tear had left.
"Mon doux, what is the matter?" His voice was soft and leaden with a French accent.
"Rien," her voice was smooth like honey, but did not hold the French she spoke.
"I was sent to fetch you. Dawn is around the corner and we must reach our destination before it reaches us."
She nodded and started walking back towards the leaky cauldron. "You're right, Asher, I did not mean to dwell so long here."
He followed behind her as they went to meet with the others and continue forward to help restore the sunshine to this magical place.
