~So I cross my heart and I hope to die
That I'll only stay with you one more night...
And I know I said it a million times
But I'll only stay with you one more night...~
Vegeta couldn't help but look over at the same mistake he keeps making night after night. There was Usagi, drooling all over his pillow. Even through all of her tossing and turning, her hair still managed to stay in those ridiculous buns. She had a tendency of mumbling in her sleep and sprawling out on his bed. As much as he wanted to leave, his feet were unwilling to leave the bed.
What is wrong with me? Super Saiyans are all about power, not feelings! This must end. Now! Before this woman destroys me in all that I am!
Slowly, he placed both feet on the floor and gathered his clothes. He couldn't help but stare at her; she was innocent and beautiful when sleeping. When she is awake...It is a different story. So why is it so hard for him to just walk away from this? From her? He didn't feel like sticking around to find out. As he was ready to open the door, he hears a familiar voice come from the hallway.
"You're leaving again, aren't you?"
There was Usagi, leaning against her door waiting for an answer. Vegeta held onto the door knob with one hand and turned his other into a fist. "We both know this will never work. So let's be adults about it and move on. These are childish games we are playing."
"Childish? Is that what this is?" As much as she tried hiding it, he could tell by the sound of her voice that she was hurt. But why should he care? He lives the life of a lonely Saiyan. There is no love in his world. Before he could say anything, she shifted her body towards her bedroom.
"Fine. But before you go..."
She made a quick jump to the door and slammed him into it. This irritated the hell out of him, but at the same time, it aroused him. And she knew it. Vegeta tried to push her away, but then she put his hands behind his head. He couldn't believe that such a tiny person could hold him back. So much power, so little she knows about it. Clearing his throat, he asked her, "Well, woman? What more do you want?"
"I need you to do me a favor." She gave him a quick smile and kissed him fiercely. His body felt like it was on fire. These kisses are almost too much. He pulled away from her lips and asked,
"And what is this favor?"
"I need you to go and find Goku. Tell him I have what is needed."
Vegeta's eyebrow raised in suspicion. He had no idea what was going on, and this made him angry.
"Needed for what, exactly?"
"None of your business."
She grabbed her bottom eyelid and stuck out her tongue at him. Giggling, she set him free and returned to her bedroom. He groans in irritation and finally lets himself out of the house. Before he could fly anywhere, the Saiyan had to lean against the door for a minute or two to recuperate. He could still feel where she kissed him on his lips, her hands pinning his arms on the door... No. These feelings had to stop. And he was going to make a stop by promising himself he would distract himself at all times. Out of all the women in the entire galaxy, it just had to be her that would make him feel love and hate at the same time. After a few minutes of deep thought and slow breathing, he made his way back to his lair.
