The night was still and silent. The only one still awake at this hour was a girl climbing a hill. Her feet trudged up the slope of the hill. With bright blue eyes she looked towards the summit. Her blond hair was tied back into a long braid that reached her waist. She wore a green skintight leotard underneath a long sleeved grey shawl. Grey Knee-high boots covered most of her legs. From her belt hung a coiled whip and a sword. As she reached the summit of the hill, Her eyes were drawn to the nearest object on the hill: A rotting wooden cross with a name scratched into the front: Leon Belmont. As the girl approached the cross, she slightly bowed, before falling to her knees. Tears escaped her eyes as she began to speak. "Father, I have done it." she whispered. She ran her hand down the cross. "He told me that as long as there were Humans, he would return, but when he does, one of our line will step forward and defeat him." She lowered her head, still in tears. "I know you would be proud of me. Our mission is complete….for now." For the first time that night, she smiled. "Goodbye, Father." and with that, Sonia Belmont stood and placed a rose at the foot of the rotting wooden cross. If one were to carefully examine the clouds in the night sky, they would see that the clouds resembled the smiling face of a young man.
