Heyo everyone! This is a small little one-shot that was inspired by the song Scars to Your Beautiful by Alessia Cara that I've had stuck in my head for a few days. So I decided to write a small bumblebee fic, my first one so. I hope you all like it!
But there's a hope that's waiting for you in the dark
You should know you're beautiful just the way you are
Yang felt her fingers glide across her skin, like a ghost. These ghost like fingers producing goosebumps on the blonde's skin. "Blake…" a mere whisper in the air. She felt the girl shift her hand, moving to the metal of her new arm. It was all a dream, Yang knew. This wasn't Blake, Blake wasn't in front of her. No, all just a dream. How foolish was she when she couldn't even fight the past, yet she wanted to fight the future. She believed she was strong, but after everything that happened at Beacon, could she pick herself up?
"I love you Yang…" This was just all a dream… "I'm sorry…" She wanted to reply, but what good would that do? It wouldn't at all, and she wanted to scream because of that. She felt horrible, this wasn't the real Blake. Yet she could see the fear in those yellow eyes, the pain in her face. Was this a dream?
Yang knew there was only one way to find out, yet it could be such a lucid dream that she wouldn't really know if it was real. The blonde moved her other hand, which had rested on the girl's hip to her face. She was afraid to touch her skin, afraid it might shatter in a split second. Yet, when the faunas leaned into the hand nothing happened. All Yang could feel was the warm skin of the girl's skin. "Blake…" she whispered, she shifted her body looking into the golden eyes. Eyes she dreamed about seeing again another day, ones she could stare into for hours on end, never looking away.
Blake softly smiled, resting her hand on Yang's. The two slowly leaned forward meeting halfway, their lips softly touching. It was a slow yet steady kiss, that lasted for a bit. The two not wanting to separate, but the desperate need for air was calling. Pulling away the two rested their foreheads together. Blake moved her hand, gliding her finger up Yang's arm to her shoulder. Only to wrap the hand around the girl's shoulder, leaning her head in the crook of the blonde's neck.
"This isn't a dream… is it?" Yang asked feeling Blake shake her head. "No, it's not." Yang hummed, wrapping her arms around Blake's waist, letting her finger glide across her stomach. She felt it, the small scar making her slow in her movements. Memories of that day flashing in her mind, sending a shiver down her spine.
"Don't think about that day Yang, I'm here now. You're here now, we're here now. That's all that matters, our scars show that we're still here." Yang took a deep breath nodding. "I love you Blake, this time I will protect you."
"I love you too Yang…"
And you don't have to change a thing
The world could change its heart
No scars to your beautiful, we're stars and we're beautiful
Hope everyone enjoyed this small one-shot! Stay shiny.
