Being a hero had its perk, but right now, Pao-Lin Huang couldn't think of anything good coming out of it. Pao-Lin could generate and control electricity at will, but certain things were just out of her control. Her friends knew about her static problem, but not her other problem at being able to see scientific unexplainable stuff. Her other problem remained a mystery until one day she overheard her friends, her normal school friends, discussing a television show about detecting supernatural entities through electromagnetic field, she was sceptic about the theory at first, but not for long. The mystery solved, but the problem remained, and it was not something that could be solved by just wearing an anti-static wristband.

"Dragon Kid," a voice came in through one of her ridiculously large ear pieces.

"Yes! I'm here."

"Stop dozing off, the criminal is getting away from you."

"Right," Dragon Kid answered. "Right..."

She might be able to see ghosts, but that didn't make her a ghost buster, neither did it help in her understanding them. Sometimes, they appeared as just glowing globes, sometimes as real as normal people. She had always ignored them, and most of the times, they ignored her, but not right now. In between her and the fleeing Next culprit were dozens of what people normally referred to as ghosts, staring at her, and her recent exchange of Next powers with another Next criminal was not helping, if she had to guess, she would imagined herself glowing like a beacon right now, a ghost-attracting beacon.

Today was a lucky day for the criminal as Dragon Girl turned tail and ran away in the opposite direction.
