The new member

Katelyn used to live in fear until her partners Zabuza and Haku were killed in battle. Zabuza made two requests one of them was for Kakashi to take Katelyn with him to the Leaf Village. Now Katelyn must train with Kakashi's group and adapt to life in the village. Will she succeed or will her blood splattered past come back to haunt her and ruin her future forever?

"Kat? Kat wake up." Someone said to her. Katelyn groaned and put the pillow over her head trying to get more sleep. The same person trying to wake her up grabbed the pillow and started to shake her "Come on we're gonna be late." Katelyn opened her eyes "Late for what Sakura?" she asked still sleepy "Kakashi Sensei said to meet him for the mission remember? We're gonna be late if you don't get up and get ready." Sakura told her starting to drag her out of bed "Okay okay ill get ready." She yawned getting up and stretching. She looked around the room So it wasn't just a nightmare she thought sadly remembering why she was here. Zabuza and Haku died and one of Zabuzas requests was for Kakashi to take her with them to the Leaf Village with them. Sakura offered to let Katelyn stay with her for the time being.

She sighed sadly before going to the bathroom and brushing her teeth. She took her auburn hair out of a ponytail and brushed it till all the knots were out. She changed into her usual clothes which was a blue tank top, a ripped up black shirt on top, pants, and shoes on. She went to the kitchen where Sakura was already eating. She sat down and also started eating. "Where's your headband?" Sakura asked her noticing that Katelyn didn't have it on "Oh. I forgot to put it on. I'll put it on later." She said before continuing to eat.

After eating Katelyn went back to Sakura's room and found her headband. She tied it around her right arm before going back to the kitchen to see Sakura waiting for her. "Come on lets go." Sakura told her heading out the door. Katelyn just followed her and walked alongside her. After a couple of minutes Katelyn asked her "What are the others like?" Sakura looked at her and smiled "Well that's simple. Naruto's annoying and really full of himself. He always messes up no matter what. Plus he can sometimes be a showoff and tries to get all of the attention." Sounds annoying alright. Sakura continued "Then there's Saskue. He's amazing, strong, and really cute. He's really good at fighting and can beat anyone." "Oh. Okay." Katelyn said and continued walking in silence
