I had a random little idea for a one shot and it had to be with the Tuckers. Please ignore any errors. I'm only human. Hope you enjoy.
Movie Night
It's a normal boring Friday night at the Tucker house. Ruby sat on the couch with her pillow across her lap. Craig sat next to her flipping through the channels. It was just another Friday, empty house and silence. Ruby was the first to talk.
"Big brother. Let's watch a movie."
Craig raised an eyebrow. Only around Ruby did he show emotion. "Ummm sure?"
Ruby rolled her eyes. "Make some popcorn then. And I'll grab a movie." Craig obeyed and walked to the kitchen. Ruby went toward the shelves of movies. 'Hmmm' she wondered, 'What movie should we watch?'
"HEY! WHAT MOVIE DO YOU WANNA WATCH?" she screamed toward the kitchen. Craig flipped her off through the doorway. Ruby returned the favor- it was a family thing.
"I'm in the next room. No need to yell, Princess." he said as he ruffled her auburn hair.
"Don't call me that." She said slightly annoyed.
"Nahhh.." he grabs a movie jacket. "Let's watch Stardust." Ruby smiles. 'Craig would pick my favorite.' she thought.
"Ok. Hey what happened to the pop..." She could smell what happened to the popcorn. Craig soon noticed too.
"FUCK!" Craig ran to the kitchen. He turned off the microwave. Ruby removed the bag. The remains were nothing but burnt ash.
"How.. wha? Nevermind." She started laughing as she threw the bag away. "My turn." She retried and the popcorn was cooked correctly. "NEVER letting you cook." She said as she placed the popcorn in a bowl.
"Whatever." Craig flipped her off as he put some popcorn in his mouth. Ruby put the movie on while Craig grabbed a blanket. The dimly light room slowly made Ruby's eyes feel heavy. During her favorite scene she was in a peaceful sleep. Craig sighed. 'What a princess.' he told himself. He gently carried her to her room. Tucking her in he thought, 'It's like when we were younger... I miss those days.'
"Goodnight Ruby." he said as he flicked off the lights.
Every since then Friday has become movie night for both siblings.
