The envy tainted drink

Matching the sin of her skin

Tastes of nothing when first

Dripped slowly into her mouth

Then suddenly it brings back

What she desires above all

Blue diamonds so elegantly

Rubbing against emerald

Touch not meant to be felt

It was a secret worth while

Whispers into twilight

Of nonsense and promise

Of a world where wicked

Is just in a fairytales

Then the green drink changed

A new flavor enters

A lover lay slain

A woman feared for naught

Another under a house

And one who is revered among all

One hand controlling them

Marionettes on her little stage

The envy tainted

Matching the color of her skin

Did taste of nothing at first

But it showed her reality

Only a baptismal splash

Could wash away the horrors

Or the envy tainted drink
