Look up at the stars
Look into the night
Why do they all
Shine so bright?
They are the fallen
The cats who have gone
Who watch over the left
Until break of dawn
Leaders to apprentices
Elders to kits
Watching the world
From where they sit
The fallen were once
Ordinary cats
But died and went up
And cannot come back
Death by fire, battle,
Disease, or flood
In their place in the stars
They watch from above
It is not your time to go
For you, they haven't callen
But please, just please
Remember the fallen
