Soldiers Prayer

This is a poem I wrote one day to honor our fighting men. I think it's a good peom, but I'll let you decide. R&R.

Soldiers Prayer

In this foxhole, my head I lay,

Through this war, Oh Lord I pray.

Guide our convoys on the roads,

Help them, bring what needed most.

Be with our pilots in yonder blue,

Let them fly forever true.

Lead the soldiers on the ground,

Towards Heaven's Gate they will abound.

Be with us, Lord, as we rest tonight,

And prepare us for tomorrows fight.
