Dear Diary,
I wish I could tell Gibbs how he has always been like a dad to me, but something is holding me back. Hold on, my phone is ringing. Sorry about that. It was Gibbs. He sounded...calmer than usual. He wants me to come over. Ever since I dived into the Potomac River to save him and Maddie a few weeks ago,he has been nicer. Got to go.

Dear Diary,
I just hung up with Tony. After his heroic rescue of me and Maddie a week ago, I decided to tell him how much he means to me. He's here. "Tony, you are like a son to me," I find myself saying before he knows it. He slowly walks towards me, and I hold out my arms. He runs into them crying.
"I've never had a daddy before. How is it," he sobs into my chest. "It's awesome. You'll see son. How about we sit on the couch?" He says ok dad, and those two words make me smile harder than ever.

Cherio! I see a big change underfoot with our young lad Anthony and my good friend Jethro. Anthony and Jethro have always been closer than mere employers and employees should be. After knowing both Anthony and Jethro for quite some time, I have formed an opinion. Anthony grew up in a single parent home where his father was very abusive, and Jethro spent most of his life mourning the family he could never get back. After they met, both formed a bond that will stand the tests of time.

I was so tempted to separate Team Gibbs because of their bond,but then I realized something. The unbreakable bond, especially between Agent Gibbs and Agent DiNozzo, is just what they need. After the horrors of their job,they need somebody to depend on. I am willing to sit back and let agent Gibbs and Agent DiNozzo pursue their father and son bond and let the team pursue their family like bond because as the Director of NCIS, I know it is their bond that is the driving force between their exceptionally high case solving rate. I admit that I was quite skeptical when I first met Agent Dinozzo,but in time, he grew on me. I am going to do everything in my power to make sure they are never separated. I took an oath as a Director of NCIS to serve, protect,and defend the Constitution of the United States. It is in the best interest of the public for their team not to be broken up. They have the best case solve rate in all of NCIS. Why ruin that?

Dear Diary,
I cannot sleep. Dad said I could wake him up if I need anything. Wow, it is hard to get used to calling him dad and everything. I am going to wake him up.
"Daddy, I cannot sleep," I say as I wake him up, and he replies,"Are you okay son," which makes me burst into tears as I recall the details of my nightmare. He has me lay with him on his bed. I lay my head on his chest, and he wraps his arms around me. Then, I fall asleep.

Dear Diary,
Gibbs called me before he went to bed. He said to tell everybody him and Tony were taking a few days off and to drop off some paperwork for them so they can work from home. When I got into his house, I dropped the paperwork off. Then, I went to Gibbs' bedroom to let him know. When I opened the door, Tony had his head on Gibbs' chest, and both were fast asleep. So, I left safe in the knowledge that Gibbs and Tony finally acknowledged their father and son connection.
